Nigeria records 315 new cases of COVID-19, total now 12,801


Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced 315 new cases of Coronavirus in the country, bringing the total number of infections to 12,801.

Breakdown of the new cases shows that Lagos takes the lead with 128 cases, FCT-34, Rivers- 32, Edo- 28, Oyo- 22, and  Kaduna- 20.

Others are Gombe- 13, Ogun- 8, Plateau- 5, Delta- 7, Kwara- 7, Kano- 5, Bauchi- 4 and Katsina- 2.

A total of 4040 patients have been discharged and 361 deaths recorded.
